DEADLINE May 5, 2007

SOLA Field Trip to New York City, May 21 - 28, 2007

All museum tickets, and rooms are paid for in advance by SOLA - (the dollar quote includes your own airfare fee estimate). Most evenings are free-time for all field trippers which means we can play it by ear.

You can choose to accompany the group organizer on the day trips, or simply go solo and join up later at the hotel.

EXTRA FUN: There are ticket kiosks along Broadway at Tines Square, where you can get last minute tickets to shows. Look at the Official New York City Guide here before you fly out.

more details: We have a large bunk dorm room reserved at the Gershwin hotel. We also have two single-rooms reserved in the case of privacy needs outweighing bankbook needs. There are plenty of places to grab eats, however, carrying snacks and water is encouraged. Fanny packs and or shoulder bags/backpacks are ideal. You'll be loading up with postcards, maps and other art lore as we roam around. Plan on meeting as a group by 9:30 am each planned day. Except the two Saturday, all evenings are open for personal free time.

Catch a show. Coffee-klatch. Drink Manhattans. Catch up on sleep. Draw. Paint. Write. Live.
