George Rivera George Rivera, Advisory Board to Silicon Valley Visual Arts, is a museum of art Executive Director, former Chief Curator, freelance curator, educator and artist. Mr. Rivera is the Executive Director of the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara. Mr. Rivera has been with the Triton Museum of Art since 1985. Since 1977 he has organized or curated over 350 exhibitions including local, state, national and international projects, collaborating with small to major museums, galleries and private collections. As a juror of art, Rivera has served as a solo or as a member of a panel of jurors for over 300 exhibitions and competitions of local, regional, statewide and national art juried programs and competitions. He teaches art at many local art facitlities. Mr. Rivera presents lectures of Bay Area Art history since 1945 to today throughout the region. As an artist, Mr. Rivera has been included in over 100 exhibitions locally, nationally, and internationally since 1974. As an arts writer his works have been published throughout the Bay Area and he was an art reviewer and contributing editor of ArtistWriter publication. Mr. Rivera currently resides in Los Gatos with his wife Kristin Rivera and family. |
